Pathology Department- Where the love of man is....

I was lucky enough to photography the Pathology Department some while ago. The stunning Hercus building, once the city morgue, is a great example of architecture in Dunedin.. at first glance you might not know it, but the building has a lot to offer.

Given free reign and artistic license, I feel I was able to echo the wonderful interior and also reflect on some the amazing work that they do there.

I didn't see the glass specimen jars housing body parts as anything to squirm about, but instead glowing reminders of how wonderful our bodies are, and how they can serve so many purposes even once we're gone.

Huge thanks to all the staff inc Prof Ian Morison & Andrea Hessian for helping me with the project.. it's definitely been a labour of love!! I'm so looking forward to seeing the next Artwork adorning the Pathology walls..!
